I’m moving up the coast to the far north end of Casco Bay. That end is Small Point in the town of Phippsburg. Of course I have the historical resorts of Popham Beach to play with. I always enjoy writing about the beach because the research time there is fantastic!

The manor house is the historically known as Castle Tucker. It was referred to as Elm Lawn circa 1900 when Maine had Elm trees and our story picks up again. It sits on a hill over looking the inner harbor of the Sheepscot River.

Jim’s nephew Patrick "Paddy" from Ireland is all grown up. He is taking over the Aubrey Jean which is of course his grandfathers ship. He and Samantha met in book 1 as children. He is coming into the Bath ship building area to get his merchant licensing to operate in the States.

Samantha is a young woman now too. Eli found her mother at Elm Lawn and went out to Pella to get her. That is the book 2 chapter that put in at the end of book 1. The two run into each other between Bath and Wiscasset and it takes a while for them to find each other out; and then some! This edition is Samantha's story.

Don't worry Mariah is back as well. She is settled into a comfortable cottage on Madokawando Landing in Falmouth. Not very far from Stony Manor, and Jim.

The events will run between Small Point and Portland. They are all on the water, on the beaches and on the islands, just where we want them to be.
