Actually it was a Tuesday but it was one of those days that couldn't go right. I'm just about ready to send book 2 of the Casco Bay series off to the publisher. I went to the library in Bath which is an hour away. Just one more thing I wanted to check on. The History room hours changed. I had two hours to kill so I took a ride down the long finger of Phippsburg. I spent a lot of time there this summer. It is the main setting of book 2. I ran into a snow squall going around Parker Head, over the marsh and down to Fort Popham. The roads were desolate and slick but it was beautiful. It was calm and peaceful among the swirling and blowing snow. You know what was weird, I felt sort of like coming home. Just like when I create a character that I fall in love with and they seem real. The historical villages of Phippsburg in their fictional version are enchanting. Just like this place.
